Scary people don't understand that or choose to ignore it. To add to that, it also weighs down the low SP as the amount of perceived value the company needs to add is higher.

Eg. A company with a MC of $300 million but a SP of 3 cents needs to add perceived value of $300 million to get to 6 cents to double. Much easier to make that jump from 3 to 6 cents with a lower market cap.

Look at BCN. They're a producer (albeit a small one) and making okay money but MC is too high so it's literally stalled for 3 years now since production started as they refuse to consolidate. Same thing COULD happen here. We might get to $250 million market cap (fair value IMO Qala Shallows is up and running) but the dilution be so high the shares are 4-5 cents
