Product development like this is good and necessary but this crowd has still not been able to turn product into sales of any significance. They were unable to make a go of Dirty Clean Food in the face of competition (more than a catchy moniker is needed). They need to be able to convince manufacturers that lupin has advantages over other vegetable proteins with soy looking to be the entrenched preference. Unless they can do this, they will go the way of DCF. I hope they can pull it off, but it will take a lot of effort (ie expense) over an extended time to do so. Whether they can manufacture at a lower cost and thereby have that as a competitive advantage, has not yet been demonstrated.
In line with my rule for speculative shares, I will not be investing any more beyond my current small holding until I see signs of lasting success.
