I speak over 5 languages, each has their own style of formalities.

I am aware my tone, when typing in English, can at times appear condescending. Just as a joke can be misinterpreted as serious, a serious tone can be misinterpreted as a joke. English doesn't have ways to add sarcasm to a sentence, just as difficult to determine if the reader notices puns and double entendres.

It is never my intention to be rude, just as Homer Simpson when asked "You've been to outer space?" to which he replied, "you've never been?" to someone who he genuinely wanted to like him.

But each to their own. I have no control of others' perception.
