Crazy market. Just last Thursday ASX 8100 points all time high. If this was announced back in May when copper was all time high, the market would have responded positively I think.
Macro factors aside, at a company level there might still be doubts lingering for buyers.
1) This just a term sheet. It is not finalized yet. Things could still go nowhere. They announced something like this back in 2019 for SS and then there was no more follow up - FACT.
2) First production not slated until mid-2025. In DVP terms, that could mean end 2025 given how the timeline has been extended before. If so, it could possibly mean over 12 months to go before production. Although they said rapid, 18-month turnaround back in 2022, that did not happen - FACT.
3) The 20% sale is still up in the air. Although there is every indication of this happening, the market doesn't know how much $$$ and therefore can't price this accurately.
4) The lithium poison. GLN got a bid so things might start looking up for PD?
