I agree with you and those who see this as a positive. I also like to see a reason as to why good news and advances in "hidden value" have been sold by those with access to that sort of information. The shorters won because they had the best information and deep pockets no doubt. Just time cost for me as I do well elsewhere and wonder "when" for DVP.
I still have the same faith in management and the CBOT (AV1!) Bloomberg commodity index is lifting at last. This is the more balanced of the commodity index's. I am not a fan of Li but BB and the team have more information at their fingertips than me. I like the Cu play here and income. There are also gold prospects picked up with the ESS takeover. Could Bill sell these off or do something with them? I am sure they have a nice looking spreadsheet of assets and potential money sources that they study and assess.
Overhang gone = positive. The value created of late will start to show up in the share price in coming weeks now that short play is out of the way.
