    MIN's motivation for selling out of DVP is simple... Balance Sheet Repair. It's not dire at MIN's but it doesn't look good. This DVP SP weakness has nothing to do with DVP fundamentals. Shorting without factoring fundamental merit is a game of picking up pennies in front of a steamroller.

    I have not looked into the of MIN's massive $4.54 Billion debt. They can be funny with attached debt covenants. These debt covenants are the fall of many well known companies in the ASX. Think Pasminco, Sons of Gwalia, Babcock and Brown, Paperlin X, Onetel, SpeedCast etc...

    Without a doubt that massive debt has forced MIN's hand.
