Haven't heard the term used on base metals, usually Au/Cu.Newcrests Cadia being the best example.
Copper credits refer to application of income from copper production to reduce AISC of Au.
However with the rising demand for Cu more emphasis is being placed on Cu production in its own right.
I agree a Cu resource would be more attractive at the present .
I suspect Bill is ahead of the curve and sees the future potential of Zn. Li demand is already outstripping supply/discovery. Zn ion batteries are a genuine alternative to Li ion batteries.
Bottom line is Zn also has huge upside not just Cu.
