Ever since Pluto got built and no more gas discoveries were made to feed a second train, I have always thought that Scarborough would be an ideal back fill for Pluto. A second train could be built Pluto at little cost (compared to train 1). I think that this is a great move by PC and sets WPL up for options going forward. Remember that there is a forecast of a gas shortage around 2023, (7 years away). Having WPL production come on line in Aust at that time will be beneficial for WPL shareholders.
