Very happy that this has fallen over but still a bit concerned that it was pursued in the first place. Santos are b grade at best and their assets and finances aren't appealing. I hope management haven't become obsessed with an acquisition just for the sake of it. So many billions lost by big resource companies taking on questionable assets at inflated values and then regretting it five years later when they have to write them off and sell out.
