Had a read of the teleconference transcript. I liked Meg's comments about how the expected new fund inflows should be greater than any BHP holders exiting. Also made the comment that a lot of big BHP holders already overlap with Woodside and other big oil and gas stocks. They've actually looked at this in detail so a good time to buy she said !
Re the sp decline I think this has been a complete over reaction by the market (wouldn't expect anything less lol). Oil price pretty good and both companies spinning off a lot of cash pre merger. $US6B Ebitda ? Countries opening up every day now. I like the ones that are open and just say the jab is there if you want it...
