As shareholders, though, what can we do ? I suggest attending the AGM and expressing, as forcefully as possible, any opposition. This is probably the best forum in which to publicly denounce the Directors responsible for authorising this donation. An email can be ignored…a recorded AGM at which Directors are confronted directly packs a lot more punch. This is the tactic Greens often use in an attempt to embarrass companies for ( often ) spurious allegations over environmental misconduct’.
