In theory.
Any porphyry explorer must do hyperspectral on every drill hole at a minimum because even subtle alteration is incredibly important and you can't map alteration minerals without it. If it wasn't being done then questions have to be asked.
Perhaps they were rushed or strapped for money and it wasn't done everywhere. Worth the question of anyone meets him in person.
