greg. in the second paragraph of the release the comp person describes the Cobar Basin as an Ordovician metasedimentary succession. I was interested to know what that meant. Ordovician is an age of rocks. If you google Age of Cobar Basin in fact you quickly learn that it is not Ordovician but another age called Lower Devonian (much younger). You would think that if any joe blow could google that, a geologist with plus 10 years experience could too. Seems a fundamental mistake for a geologist. My point really is can we take that whole Competent Person statement at the end of every asx release serious. I never do. Thats why i going digging deeper.
He might be a nice bloke but that seeming small error has my bs radar up high.
