botch i suppose there are 2 ways of looking at this
either:-
A: the deal is that good that they don't mind paying around 40% premium on the short term money because they believe in the end it will be well worth it. if this is the case, the deal must be a cracker. or;
B: they are just desperate to get funds to acquire any sort of deal which will lead into a future cap raising etc
either way, should find out which next week
