    "Handling and processing clays is notoriously difficult due to their rheology and reactivity problems" can you reference this?

    Yes,laterite nickel has its own problems but not due to the handling- that's simple excavator and truck to plant usually no blasting- the real problems begin there as Twiggy well knows .It's also very energy intensive .Ionic clays are easy dig,no crush and then heap or tank leach- deciding the economics of these needs work but both options still much less than laterites.....pollution a big problem there as well.

    How certain are you that MEI didn't cherry pick?Not implying that they did but to assume so can lead to dissappointments.Given the geology,unlikely(that may be a bad assumption as well!)Asc will check the raw drill hole data when he has time.

    Middy wasn't quoting head grades but comparing recoveries for a given grade showing thatb BCM had a better recovery at that particular level,
