The EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism is in force, and exporters to the EU will be looking at their competitive advantages or disadvantages keenly. One might complain, as Coto does, about 'go woke go broke' but the other way to look at this is 'carbon emissions equals no permissions'.

Low carbon is a selling point for the project to the EPA, EPBC, the incoming 'social surrounds' policy via WA EPA, it's on the minds of all stakeholders in Perth, Norseman and elsewhere. Plus energy costs are rising, and unless you're as bad at maths as P-duttz, if you use less you make less carbon, pay less offsets, your product gets taxed less by the EU, etc. There was a WA government grants program with up to $15M for low carbon technologies, free money to save emissions. Seems that you're better off being woke and getting to toke from the peace pipe.
