Its not made clear what the initial "ionic" component grades are for which these recoveries refer to. MEI has a mix of ionic and hard rock. The hard rock being the driver of the higher grade. From that same announcement , five of the 10 drill holes from which samples were taken had transition zones. ie not fully clay. Also interesting to see how representative of grade these holes were. This needs to be examined further. Many facts to consider Confident that the ultimate economics will better assess profitability comparisons. Headline grade may be useful for headlines only. Also royalties are a consideration. Ecological factors. Is this the project that is adjacent to a town that may never come into being because of local opposition. Not sure if it was MEI but one of the competitors mentioned in BCM ann had a location problem in this regard.
