So in the graph, where you see the spike at $700 and $800, that's actually $350 and $400 realised revenues.
The graph clearly shows less than $500 total per day up until the 7th(or 8th?) September. This means daily realised revenue (50%) was less than $250 a day up until the spike, and then after it spiked, it dropped to around $120 realised revenue before another spike.
Looking at the graph further, we can see that from the 19th August until the 5/6th September, the FB graph shows less than $250 a day at 100% conversion. And NOR admits that realised revenues are approximately half of what is shown (as reinforced by Shane's response to me further up this thread).
So from the 19th August-5/6th September, the app made less than $125 a day, and ads were costing $150 average a day. So they were losing money.
Shane confirms above that the company still hasn't made a profit.
"At the current rates, using the figures as above, “total campaign spend” return including the flat ramp up phase is likely to
tip positive within a week."
He is admitting that up until now, the ad campaign has cost more in total than the app has returned. He says that it should be positive within a week, based on current rates. However, as the graph shows (spike, huge dip, spike) I don't think we can reliably assume consistent $400 revenue a week from here on out. Once we have 3 months of app rankings and revenue figures, maybe we can reliably make assumptions.
