Irrespective what you say Rolla, WPL is holding now a big chunk (82% if PE is completed) of an oil field to be developed. If the sales and the behaviour of the bid players of the past is any indication, it could also end up a bit of a noose around their neck. It is not what I wish on them, but cockiness in the oils space has it's problems as you so often pointed out. Holding a small stake or a huge stake are notoriously difficult to sell. Pressure can be applied to both. Of course this is just business.
This leaves only one issue to resolve. What will the top shareholders do?
I only hope that this Forum goes into hibernation now. It appears to have brought out the worst in posters.
