The idea that “there’s no lithium” or “no one will ever mine it” is a convenient narrative, until someone does. Whether or not lithium is being mined today is irrelevant. What matters is the legal standing over who owns the rights if and when it's extracted, especially as part of gold mining operations.

Here’s the kicker: if lithium is incidentally extracted while mining for gold, which it likely will be, given the geology, the courts won’t just shrug it off. They’ll enforce royalties.

That means Auric can’t just scoop it up, dump it, or pretend it doesn’t exist. They’ll be compelled to process it and pay ESR for the privilege.

So, yes, ESR will claim royalties on any lithium mined. That’s the point of asserting rights.

And no, the original $30k isn’t a hard ceiling. It’s a marker, an early negotiation in a different context.
Let’s be clear: this isn’t ESR being desperate. It’s them enforcing a legal position that, if ignored, exposes Auric to damages, reputational risk, and operational delays. That’s not a great look for a company trying to push a pit forward.

The real world? It’s about to get a lot more real for AWJ.

They can see Auric is lining up to make millions, as I previously said, everyone has their hands out..
If the market takes this as price sensitive, which it is clearly marked as "Not"
Then only bargain buying will present, imo
