Also WTC has ASX market traded options that can let you take a short (for example a bought put) position.
I prefer ASX options as they tend to be more fairly priced than warrants (you are at the mercy of the market marker with warrants).
Mind you, with the recent volatility it is very expensive to buy puts in WTC (and fair enough the put sellers have just lost about $700 per contract in two days - and most retail traders do about 10 or 20 contracts per option).
Options are only for those experienced traders have have a strong feeling about BOTH direction and timing.
