The company paying $2.1m to $3.8m for this business was unlikely to have affected the shareprice today. This isn't Amazon buying Whole Foods. It's another acquisition.
I agree with some of the thoughts here that it would seem to be an unexpected acquisition, but gee, there can be little doubt on this after what we've seen from Richard White and his team.
That's not to say he has an unwavering green light from shareholders but on a purchase this size it's another small uptick in EBITDA, and consideration of how this builds the network effect of CargoWise.
If anyone has longer thoughts on LTL TMS, I'd enjoy reading them.
