Fairly simple and standard document requirements. Approval took around 36 hrs.
Application submitted online at 8.30pm.
Next day at 8.00am, first request was for:
• Copies of 2 forms of identification documents. E.g. your Medicare and Drivers Licence or Passport
• A selfie of yourself holding a photo ID (e.g. Drivers Licence or Passport) (bit weird?)
These were submitted shortly after,
Then at 11.30am the same morning, 2nd request for:
1. Please send a most recent payslip for both you and your partner for income verification purposes.
2. Please send the front page of your bank statement for the bank account you declared to be direct debited from xxxxxx, as the statements on our file show this bank account is only under your name.
3. Please clarify how many open/ongoing credit cards you have under your name.
Loan approved 9.00am the following morning.
While the experience was not unpleasant, I wouldn't call it ground breaking.
Also, chasing up the required documents, scanning, and submitting is a bit of a pain.
