Hi Budor,
I didn't register the point on slide 20 where there is a suggestion the scattered porphyry systems may coalesce at depth.
They mention Geochem and geology. Chemical vectors are something companies often mention in targeting which combined with detailed geology may be why the above statement is made. IMO it is more likely to be from a review of the deeper diamond drilling rather than the recent shallow work but that will have added information as well. Gravity and magnetics as well could help.
Searching for feeders and large sources is another thing that is often mentioned in exploration but seldom after the drills have had their say. Doesn't mean the mother lode isn't there just very difficult to find if it is.
I found the image (page 11) showing a relationship with Oyu Tolgoi interesting. No idea what the structural corridor is based on. Might reflect the 12+km trend from Heruga to Hugo Dummett ,in part, where ore may be extracted up to 2Kms below surface in the distant future. OT does seem to be a series of related deposits but don't appear to coalesce at depth. 2010 Turquoise Hill Resources preso

I suspect you are right about Mongolia and awareness/caution by investors on the ASX. Recently noticed someone who said they wouldn't invest in anything with African exposure. Certainly not for the faint hearted there or many countries which have significant mineral potential. Mongolia is certainly very well endowed and hopefully the political and mining regime has turned around and will stay that way.
IMO the recent gold discovery at Altan Burged (Kharmagtai) could be very signifcant.
It represents the first test of 7 targets generated by pattern drilling into bedrock.

This highly selected cross section shows the potential volume that may be present at 0.5g/t plus in the 500x300m (current size) Target 1. Needs many more holes obviously but say there is a core area some 200x200x60m with grades near the 1g/t Au and possibly a lower grade halo (+Cu credits) - interesting exploration target in the flat, dry terrain of Mongolia.
