Not exactly certain how they arrived at the dimensions but Figure 3 probably shows how.

The recent grid drilling through cover into relatively fresh bedrock constrains the geology in addition to the previous diamond holes 304 326 and 333. Combine it with the magnetics gravity and analytical results for the grid drilling (say 500+ppm Cu and/or some Au) to put on the white lassoo and call it 500x300m in rounded numbers.

I did some quick research to find out if details of the historical diamond holes are available. XAM appear to have acquired the Kharmagtai project in early 2014 and the holes probably predate that. Ivanhoe? Mongol Minerals or ? for those data.

As part of the quick look through old data I came across this image which IMO shows a magnetic inversion model for coalescence at depth that dates back to at least the May 2014 RIU presentation.

The quick scan I did through the historical data shows that the KH and OU properties have lots of intersections like those in the Jan 16 announcement but XAM are having difficulty getting good continuity IMO. Lots of smoke but they really need to find a good fire.

A good example is the Diorite Hill prospect at OU where over half a kilometer of strike length has been tested in 2014/5 with interesting but apparently sub economic results.
