    Does this make sense and who will actually benefit from this? I thought convertible loan notes are something for early stage companies who find it hard to get bank financing.

    If Xero is in a net cash position why does it need exotic debt instruments like this with high transaction costs and call option fees paid to the investment banks.

    Surely a bank facility is easier and cheaper.
