Agree 100 per cent.What they should have announced is we will have an SPP which will be at a 5 per cent discount to the average vwap of the fortnight proceeding the date of the app.This would have allowed SP to move naturally,instead of being artificially capped, but hindsight is a great thing. They were vote grabbing with the announcement and don't get me wrong,I am happy to reward long holding shareholders but now is not the time.It would be bad form to deny management some easy bonuses in one hand but take a shareholder bonus with the other.
