What about when companies and individual capabilities/ego go in different directions? How is a company supposed to navigate that effectively in your eyes? PR wise, you rarely see in-depth explanations on behalf of the company nor the individual to save face for whatever reason. Annoying, I definitely agree. In departures under 'good terms' have you ever seen in-depth reasons given, in your experience?

Departures happen all the time in companies going through transformational times like this, companies outgrow people; people outgrow companies. It's not about fooling the market, it's about the market knowing it will be perceived negatively and in this case they were definitely correct, hence the big sell off. The leaky action int he days leading up to it is the worst part for me.

Lot of smoke and noise atm, and naturally negative sentiment from the market. Hopefully should subside soon and we can see the real deal
