Perhaps sending coupons tailored to specific customers? This guy buys a whole lot of brand x cookies - let's send him a brand y cookie coupon. Oh you like this pizza shop a lot? We now deliver - here's 10% off your first delivery.
Or even signing up the customer as a club member. How did you enjoy the museum exhibit that you swiped in to be a member at a month ago? Be sure and check this month's exhibit on dinosaurs.
Swipe your phone here for access into the club lounge that you're a member of.
Or similarly - instead of barcode tickets (that REALLY STRUGGLE ON PHONES) - tap your phone to present your ticket to get into your favourite concert.
Loyalty points - swipe your phone each time you buy our burgers - fifth one is on us. If you'd like we'll tell you when our food van is in your area and send you a gps location.
This patent/idea is beautiful. Just think of the possibilities, I could go on for hours (even with ignoring the fridge telling you you're out of food - as beautiful as that is!). Lot's of revenue to be made here. And a healthy revenue stream = a healthy valuation
