Xped Limited (ASX: XPE) (“Xped” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (“MoU”) with Compal Electronics Inc (“Compal”) of Taiwan. The companies will now collaboratively engage to develop a binding agreement to license several Xped technologies, and collaboratively market to Compal customer base. When a binding agreement is reached, Compal will seek to incorporate Xped ADRC technologies into: • Smart Gateway Solutions • Smart Speaker Platform • Smart Home Devices • Smart Health Devices Under the proposed terms, Xped will provide Compal and their OEMs branded versions of the Xped App customised for Smart Home and Smart Health. Now that a Memorandum of Understanding has been signed Xped and Compal will work together to progress to a licensing agreement. An update will be made to the market as soon as progress has been made. Compal Electronics, Inc. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the research and development, design, manufacture, and distribution of computing, communication, consumer, cloud and connecting (5C) electronic products.
