Im sure many will disagree but in my experience the CEO is a functionary role that have set functions. Setting the direction of the company and strategy, legal obligations etc and tend not to be the best sales people. I like the fact the John is Head of Asia its our biggest and closet target market and he can with his contacts build sales opportunities and networks rapidly unhindered by the role of being CEO.
