reporting of surface sampling for lithium pegmatites is getting beyond a joke, nobody knows the degree of bias in selecting sample points, or how representitive of the outcrop a sample is. there will be parts of an outcrop where the spodumene crystals are sticking up in the air out of the rock, but for the vast majority of outcrops there is very little visible mineralization.
if they take 10 samples from a particular outcrops that's useless information unless they say what the width and length is, and what the average grade is...and what's the point of drilling unless they get consistent averages approaching minable grade and over widths that are minable widths.
if you take hundreds of samples and only get a few over 1-3%, dont waste shareholders expectations and time and certainly dont waste money dozing access tracks up and down and over 45 degree slopes to get drill rigs in.
so they submit 3 samples for analysis and make a report, what about the other samples, did they dip their hand in a lottery barrel to pick out the sample numbers or did they say... "oh yeah baby...these 3 have definitely got spodumene."
i'm sick of this bs, asx need to get their act together.
