Im not sure when your last work as a driller/fieldy was, but in the last 8 years I've worked on RC/diamond expo rigs and as a field tech. I can garuantee you, the terrain out there even if its far worse than this image will not stop the rigs from getting where they want to. A simple dozer push will get truck frame rigs any where, look at area C, south flank, solomon, koods etc. I've drilled on goat tracks that climb and wind up stuff you'd have a hard time getting up on foot.

Now I dont know the circumstances but research isnt getting yourself into remote area having to haul a pack and having no water. Thats an experience, and sounds like it came from a lack of research and planning? Same as mine is experience too, but it makes me question what exposure you have to this stage or if you're just one of the aforementioned heralds of doom that pop up to try and feel smart by telling people they have made a mistake. So out of curiosity what is tour back ground?
