The positive is that TASL has recognised they stand a better chance of landing a contract with XTE as their partner, and also Basham has some experience in this space from his previous role at Ava group where they partnered with a local manufacturing provider and licensed the technology to them to manufacture the product locally.

With a country like India, it seems like a better option to partner with someone who knows the landscape and has the connections rather than trying to land the contract.....yes you earn less, but better chance of a contract without getting neck deep in local dramas.....just collect the licensing fee!

Well Tata is at the very top of the list ofIndian industrial conglomerates so we will be well placed strategically. I guess we will have to see what the commercials look like but I am sure Xtek's tech it's a small part of the geostrategic process of trying to move the Indian's away from depending on Russian military equipment by offering some of the best Western tech. They will take their special forces gear very seriously given past issues with Pakistan and rising tensions with China... Be interesting if events in Ukraine lead to further orders as conflict heats up again after the winter.
