I’d suggest you read some of the company’s recent reports to the ASX (such as the 2022 Financial Result report issued on 27 February this year — a truly impressive account of recent performance!). Just for info, the Chinese energy company which is the majority owner (Yankuang Energy) sought to take total control of YAL perhaps a year or so ago, but its lowball offer was quickly and properly rejected.

I’m not aware of any current law suits against the company, but those too are an obvious risk — especially in view of Justice Bromberg’s “duty of care” judgement of last year (q.v.) and other similar frolics by activist judges.
