It certainly poses a few questions regarding the whole economics and interesting that the share price is tanking atm. I agree with others that this seems to have dragged on for far too long and finance should have been secured by now if this was a drop dead no brainer???
Having said that HAS are clearly committed with the establishment activities on site and procurements for the mine equipment. They would not be doing that if they were not confident of long term success. We all need to remember this is the first mine of its type (rare earths), to get up for years and obviously barriers to entry are difficult. We keep hearing about other how well other neighboring explorers are doing (ie. DRE and LRN), which are both penny stocks, but realistically these guys are where HAS was 5 years ago. HAS have the first mover advantage in this area of the world and providing they get a mine off the ground and rake in some revenue then DRE and LRN are simply take over targets to add to the value proposition of HAS.
Need to think long term. I will continue to hold.
