The wall of sellers at 28 cents is a deliberate strategy to cap price and pick up options from holders who were hoping to trade them and don’t have the funds to convert.
Have a look at what happened to VRXO and AVRO as prime examples.
This is a great and proven way (if unethical) for a major investor to pick up a very large parcel without pushing up the share price as they accumulate.
I think there is great money to be made on HASO in these final weeks, but only if you are trading from a position of strength where you are happy to find conversion as a backstop.
My hope for smaller HASO holders is that the Hastings team offer them some support with an announcement on final financing or something else that blows the 28c manipulation away. (Matt Allen maybe you are reading???

For holders of heads, just be patient and watch this rocket back to at least 37 cents within two weeks of option expiry.
