This and the previous announcement should put us at or above the top end of guidance and inline for significant dividends in 2024.
The market continues to cautiously value the company perhaps on the basis of expecting the cycle to turn. Every year that goes buy without that occurring increase the value gap.
Interesting to see Mick Caratti stepping down as Chair but staying on the board.
I have no idea what duration he intends to stay on the board or as a significant shareholder with 22.7%, however i would think that the succession process is well underway.
Mick has been instrumental in the strategy, execution and conservativeness of the business over many years. I have always felt safe with him at the helm.
