Ouch, cinema profits down 12.2%. Would've thought Avengers Endgame would've at least given cinema results a modest boost. Can't see the future looking much brighter, with the end of current phase MCU (arguably biggest box office draw of the past decade) and the arrival of digital streaming services like Disney+.
Hotels more or less flat. But with global trade sentiment souring, tourism (particularly from China) could take further hits in coming years.
Shares look cheap - but one gets the feeling they could be even cheaper in the next few years.
