It looks like the profit forecasts were very wrong, Commsec's current EPS forecast of 5.6cps is way under the statutory NPAT of $53.3m/33cps reported today (based on 161.2m SOI).
At a share price of $15.70 the P/E works out to 48x which is still very high but there is a lot of recovery still to come in their markets, and given my recent visit to Thredbo, EVT are not averse to repricing their offerings to take advantage of increasing demand and restricted supply. I can't see any mention of a dividend, that would have indicated to me a return to operational normality.
