@h00ts , learned Pro & Con opinions are always welcomed from my POV.
Personally i DGAF as to the semantics around how and why this has happened, the accompanying agenda's and what or may not happen with both parties moving forward the truth of the matter is it has happened !!
I have previously stated that AVZ Mgt needed to step up to the plate and show they are able to transform this MASSIVE resource and AZV from explorer to miner and the Strategic Resource it will be, after the BS we have experienced over many years with the "please explain notices", "twittergate" , "Klausgate", "eastereggs" and the numerous other incidents (BS) showing IMO somewhat lacking Mgt, at times. I give credit as they have also achieved milestones, but they where milestones that most exploration COY'S would normally be expected to achieve to become successful...... AVZ (as an entity) has done nothing spectacular, OUR resource is Spectacular, BUT the historical data that was available for all to see had already put the writing on the wall, AVZ only had to put together the process to join the dots.
Whether the $14mil "strategic investment" deal with Yibin was + or - for Coy is of very little consequence, the notice of withdrawal is there for all to see, the "could be's" (if any) are still yet to be proved, the crux IMO is again, what our plan B will be or if in fact we have one!! Going around spruiking how well things are going (see recent sponsored press articles), giving confidence to the timeline forward, only to have what IMO, will be deemed by the the market as a very negative "after hours" announcement, that drags AVZ backwards and the path forward will AGAIN be disputed (we have had Asshats telling us for years we have no future, but we are still here).... the market and SH like direction. Remember what was said that this $14mil was going to allow the Coy to achieve in the near term... increase % of project, commitment to long lead items and other operational planning requirements/aspects, all positive... this in effect takes all that away, I realise they are "discussing" alternatives, but until resolution these positives are gone.
I am as bullish as any other LT holder around here, but in my "layman" opinion find this Ann a feather one would NOT put in ONE'S cap, we are looking for USD$500mil in CAPEX funding to go into development and the crutial O/T agreements allowing same. We need the right guys at the table to ensure solid deals are achieved, not to mention the fact we require $$ very soon, so we can continue in the short term, will the $6mill in Oppies be Converted in 4 weeks, Mr Market will need confidence, can we give it ?
I hope Mgt get this sheet sorted !!!
