I don’t understand why people think this is a positive??
Why has FIRB done NF a favour?? Because now AVZ doesn’t have to raise capital at a low price with their DFS in their back pocket??
People please turn on your brains. It was NF seeking funding at a low price prior to the DFS. The Chinese weren’t forcing his hand. If AVZ had enough money to get to the DFS then NF should have waited. But he didn’t. Did he not believe the DFS would be positive and he could raise at a higher price? He was trying to sell cheap...not the Chinese trying to buy cheap. FIRB has don’t the shareholders a favour...not NF. But at the end of the day unless they can resolve the USD500MM capex bill the lithium isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
And if people think this is a result of Aus lithium produces lobbying the government then get real. Sure AVZ has more lithium than they know what to do with...but they can’t produce enough and ship it to disrupt the market. 5Mtpa is hardly disruptive!!
