Regretfully I've seen this happen a fair bit across a few gems I own. SRK, CAP & HAV come to mind. All excellent prospects with very bright futures imo that have suffered a similar thing and more than once. They have all had major runs after these moments and remain in good positions with significant upside near term. I buy in fundamentals not on candle sticks. The heard will do its thing. But my method is working for me and I think I am well informed. Suppose I have access to more info than the ave hot copper punter. Always happy to share of course.
