Further to prev post, the debt increase of usd 1.1b (AUD 1.7) occurred at beginning of Oct 2023 at 9.25% coupon rate. So approx usd 25m (1.1b x 9.25% x one qtr of year) or AUD 37m would have contributed to $167m interest.
You can therefore add at least another $37m interest over and above the $167m interest to the bottom line of the next set of hy accounts…. Which is quite material when you look at the overall npat for Hy ending 31 Dec 2023, notwithstanding all the other variables which have unfavourably affected its cash flow during this HY
