The Chinese are an interesting bunch actually Dentie they are like sheep and not capable of thinking for themselves. As an example I work a couple of days a week in Franks Corner here in QT. It's a small gift shop that actually sells 100 percent NZ made. 80 suppliers. Last June I asked a wee Chinese girl if she could do some social media on the shop. Well she put up a post on her personal Red Note / Book account and it went viral. Red book is the biggest social media platform in China around 300 million people use it including now people in the USA. Since then I constantly get younger generation Chinese coming to the shop and spending. One day I had seven direct sales due to her post. It has morphed into a Trip adviser. Prier to her post the Chinese would walk in and walk out to go to the brand shop or made in China shop. Apparently there are others promoting the shop including an influencer now.

Anyhow what I am saying is that to crack the Chinese market you need the right people promoting it and that would have to involve a big time influencer for something like Evolis or Bouf.
