re: outlook express 6 virus? (and facial piercing)
Thanks everyone for your input and help. I did a little research and found a couple of useful links. The first gives a simple description of the virus and steps to detect and remove the offender. (Also an interesting article on teenage body piercing for those inclined)

Everything came up clean so far, but keeping a watch.
I remembered a trick courtesy of a HC poster of putting a bogus name and email address at the top of my address book (ie:name !!00!! address [email protected]) This supposedly shows a 'failed to deliver to address' message if the virus attempts to send itself out.
