You probably need to do more research on this IMHO. I know from my research that the bordering countries to Zambia eg: Peoples Republic of Congo, Tanzania and Sudan are non-investable from my research and reading. There are just too many political risks. Africa has areas of Islamic militant groups that can cause havoc with mines eg: In Mali, 40 mine workers were shot dead on the road to a mine.
There are some areas in Africa that are much safer on a relative basis but nowhere near as secure as obviously Australia, Canada & the USA. I personally have made the decision that there's plenty of high quality opportunity in the Aussie space and will only be investing here. Not to mention we have the best Covid response for mining countries. I think this will bring international investment into the Aussie space and our stocks will benefit greatly based on Sovereign risk profile and a Covid profile. Hope that helps but DYOR is important.
