When APEX held Younami the POG was very low, around $800 oz au.
They were after the deep Youanmi high grade portal and started to dewater the main pit.
But with a low POG and low recovery rate from the deep gold they were always marginal.
They never suspected that the granite zone hosted gold oxide ie Grace.
After the POG fell again in 2008 they gave up.
