I’m afraid that the “basics” are totally in opposition to what I have been reading. The large price of gold increase in recent times have been largely driven by Central Bank buying and this has no sign of abating. When retail demand ramps up when the sheeple wake up to the fact that gold is a great investment, that will actually add to demand. Retail often buys high and sells low. Also money printing (inflation) causes the price of gold to increase to maintain purchasing power. Many state that a POG in excess of US$10k is reasonable.
