Yeah, it was a real turn up for the books that drilling an oxidised **bro returned oxidised **bro. Who'd a thunk it? 

It baffles me that they are reporting that these are ferruginous zones; they haven't even sieved the chips. If this is the level of effort being put in to understanding the geology I would despair as a holder. I mean, yeah, saprolite is a PITA but when you can see chips in the trays like this, if I was running the donkey show I'd tell the geologist to get back out there and sieve the bloody stuff properly. Just chucking powder in the trays is pure laziness. 

SC042

It looks like any typical upper saprolite material to me; red mafic derived clays with some hematite oxides in some parts. There are a couple of metres in SC042 (23-24m, 27-30m) that look like low-grade disseminated magnetite in **bro, the rest being either saprock (below 30m) or anorthosite (10-22m) and barren of anything. 0-6m is laterite, clearly, so the vanadium content of that and it's extractabi;lity will be conjectural. Likewise, the saprock and partially weathered rock below 30m, how does that leach? This hole, at least, has some reasonably dark iron-rich stuff in the semi-weathered rock. 

SC019

Here the so-called ferruginous zones are 5-8m, 10-12m, and being generous, 19-30m. Below 30m, again, it's partially weathered rock. Not much of excitement in the saprock.
